La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston NW Brookhollow

For the money, this hotel is just fine. There is so much truth when people say, “you get what you pay for.” The room was clean, smelled nice, and was in 8/10 overall condition. The common spaces in the hotel were not always the cleanest. The breakfast was simple but tasted decent- not a ton of options but enough to fill your stomach for a few hours. The staff simply did their job- they were friendly but nothing above and beyond. I will say the biggest downside of this hotel is the location / the overall safety feel. There were no issues when I was here, but it’s definitely not in the best area. I would not spend over $100 a night for this place, but for the $70 a night that I paid, it was worth it. I have no major complaints.

I had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was what you would typically expect. The cleaning staff was very sweet. I would definitely book again.

Not downtown, but still in Houston. This motel has rooms to the hallway vs opening to the immediate outdoors, which I appreciate. Parts.of Houston were experiencing power outages and I was there in a no power location and needed fresh air and my breathing machine. These rooms came standard with iron, hair dryer, 1 cup coffee pot, fridge and microwave. They had a good little breakfast in the morning. It was quiet, and clean. My only concerns were that a door on our floor was not closed but not open, allowing a creepy factor to the hall. I also couldn't locate an ice machine. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I wasn't disappointed. I also got the best rateavailable, and friendly staff to go with it.

The room was very clean. Great TV. Comfortable room. I read some negative reviews by accounts with few reviews. I didn’t experience ANY of the negative things mentioned. I would definitely stay there again.

Happily surprised with the stay! When checking in, the front desk agent was super friendly and very helpful. The room looked very clean and maintained as well! Yes it is a little bit out dated but for a short stay it is perfect. Especially if you realize that parking and breakfast are included! How wonderful! The price for sure matched the expectations and I would definitely come back again!

This place was great. The staff were friendly and understanding of our daughter being on the spectrum. The only down side was the breakfast. The sausage was always barely warm and it was always the same thing the week and half we were there. That is the only reason for the less then 5 star rating.

The hotel is very well maintained, they try the best to have the pools, walkways and breakfast area very clean. They have a good room service and customer care. They have good deals on weekly stays, the location of this hotel is just 10mins to downtown and if you hate to live in Houston downtown this is the best place.

I loved the location - it's conveniently close to the freeway and within walking distance to various eateries. The building itself is tucked away behind Wing Stop and Sonic, which makes it quieter than being directly on Main Street. As someone who often leaves at 3am, I felt very secure thanks to the well-lit parking area, 24/7 lobby nearby staff. The breakfast options were good, although I wished there were more vegan choices. The room is a bit dated, but considering the rate is under $100 per night, it's a great value overall.
